Built by business owners who believe Northeast Michigan has untapped potential.
Visit North Eastern Michigan Partnership is an independent, privately funded partnership of local business owners and regional stakeholders. Our organization was created because too many businesses that depend on tourism have felt disconnected from the organizations, funding decisions and strategies intended to promote our region. We want to change that. We are not associated with any visitor bureau or receive any tax money.

We represent hotels, lodging operators, restaurants, retailers, attractions and other businesses whose success is directly connected to a healthy visitor economy. Their voice matters.

An important part of our mission is increasing awareness among businesses responsible for paying visitor, lodging or similar assessments about how tourism-related programs operate, how resources are allocated and how those decisions affect the businesses contributing to the system.
Where appropriate, the Partnership may retain government-relations professionals, lobbyists, attorneys, economists, forensic accounting professionals, consultants and independent research firms to evaluate matters affecting tourism and economic development in Northeast Michigan.
This work may include reviewing publicly available information, financial records obtained through lawful means, tourism performance, assessment structures, organizational practices, economic impact and other issues relevant to the regional visitor economy.
